LSE Alumni-Young Diplomats' Club trip to Visegrád

On 18 June the Hungarian LSE Alumni Association jointly organised a day-long outing, picnic and ferry ride with the Budapest based Young Diplomats’ Club. Attended by Hungarian and British LSE alumni as well as by Hungarian, Irish and French diplomats the group completed a 15 k stretch of the National Blue Trail in sunny weather in the Pilis forest, reaching the medieval Visegrád Castle in the Danube Bend by the evening. After a deserved ice cream stop participants had the option of returning to Budapest by tourist ferry. Many thanks to Dóra Szűcs for helping to organise the event and to the Young Diplomats’ Club for their cooperation. We hope to see you at our future hiking events!
