On 18 April the LSE Alumni Association and the Common Sense Society jointly organised a debate between two former Hungarian foreign ministers on the topic of "Transatlantism in Hungarian Foreign Policy: Past, Present and Future". Dr Géza Jeszenszky and Dr Péter Balázs exchanged views on NATO, value and interest based foreign policy, transatlantic relations and trade as well as the role of commercial diplomacy in foreign affairs. As usual, the debate was followed by a lively question and answer session. Many thanks to the Common Sense Society for the flawless cooperation and to the House of Dialogue for providing the venue.
