2014

On the 27th of August, our alumni group held its annual Pre-departure event. This event serves as an occasion for perspective LSE students to meet fellow students and alumni. This year's event was hosted by H.E. Jonathan Knott, British ambassador to Hungary, and it was also attended by H.E. Péter Szabadhegy, ambassador of Hungary to the UK.

On the 9th and 10th of August, our Alumni group held its first ever LSE Alumni Sailing Weekend on Lake Balaton. Aboard three boats, our group of twenty-one set sail in a truly superb summer atmosphere, criscrossing Füred Bay. After having sailed throughout the day, our group enjoyed a BBQ party in some wonderful settings in Tihany.

On the 16th of June, 2014 our Alumni Association hosted Dr Júlia Király, former Deputy Governor of the Hungarian National Bank in the latest of our evening discussion series.
